Environment

Environmental remediation and stewardship are intrinsic to agricultural production and economic growth.

Without flood mitigation, access to water, topsoil regeneration, and ecosystem restoration, there can be no sustainable agricultural production or secure income generation for the farmers.

Haiti is affected by droughts,  soil erosion, lack of access to water and irrigation, and the smallholder farmers’ dire poverty. Addressing environmental necessities is paramount to better agricultural production, more food produced domestically, and an end to hunger and the reduction of poverty in Haiti.
