We are a lean organization using generous funds from donors directly into our programs on the ground.
Our partner-community’s priorities are to achieve readiness to build their own agricultural cooperative, to access water, and continue to improve the educational experience of pupils at the Patrice Lumumba School. These are examples of what your donation makes possible:
$ 25.00 Three books in Creole for children just learning how to read
$ 50.00 Enough seeds to plant one acre of land
$ 100.00 Teach 10 grade schoolers how to code
$ 250.00 Nutritional and medical assistance for 10 malnourished children
$ 500.00 Training in principles and practice of cooperatives for 30 farmers
$ 800.00 Install one rainwater collection system for a family
$1,000.00 10 mothers’ gardens to help improve nutrition of malnourished families
$3,000.00 Construction of a much needed wall to secure the perimeter of the Patrice Lumumba School to keep children safe and prevent them from running onto the oncoming traffic. Start the children’s vegetable garden so they can learn to love and respect nature, and experience the joy of growing and eating the fruit of their labor.
$5,000.00 Purchase much needed agricultural tools and equipment
